Jurgen received his artistic training at The Hamburg Academy of Art and studied under one of the last surviving pupils of Kandinsky. He worked for many years in advertising and design roles, while also pursuing his love of painting and produced a large body of abstract work. It was with the advent of computers capable of generating print-worthy images in 1986 that he began to create exciting fantasy images.
